How often should I change my engine oil?

For most vehicles, every 12 months or 12,000 miles is a sensible guide for post-warranty cars, though manufacturer recommendations vary. Some modern engines specify longer intervals, while vehicles used for lots of short journeys or towing may benefit from more frequent changes. If you’re unsure, we’ll check your vehicle’s history and advise accordingly.
